The larger-than-life faces that appear in “The Writing’s On The Wall" originally started as a doodle. Renee frequently doodles faces (on any medium she happens to come across) when she is stuck on a particular painting or brainstorming her next one. After many doodles and layers of paint, the couple appeared.
